Title: What are these electric leads for.....?
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on November 28, 2013, 04:47:36 PM
The black plug is for the Kymco diagnostic tool plug-in...
But what are the other 2 leads for?
Found these while adding padding to my battery, to stop it from clunking around when I hit bumps (Kymco should have added a strap)
Thanks, Stig

That's where you plug in your hot plate and electric BBQ!  ;-)

The three Kymco's I've had have all had the Green Butt Connector,  but it's usually inside the front cowl.

Those two pink leads are to initialize the TPS and Air Bypass Valve. Service manual says to hook 'em together or ground one of them. Just checked the SM and you ground the pink lead with the plastic sleeve to either the frame or Battery - (minus). That is with the key on, engine not running.
