Title: Fuel Filter/Auto Cock O-Ring?
Post by: jon on November 18, 2013, 07:03:43 AM
Does anyone know the dimensions of this o-ring, or where I could source a gas resistant one of the same size? I was doing some maintenance and pulled out the filter because of a fuel leak and the o-ring has completely deteriorated and had cracks and chunks missing from it. The original was an orange color, and I tried to replace it with a black o-ring I had, but it was not thick enough, and probably not gas resistant. Most of the auto and hardware stores here also seem to only stock generic black o-rings with no mention of fuel resistance. I only seen it shown in exploded parts diagrams as coming with an entire auto cock assembly (#16950). This is the o-ring that seals the pipe between the auto cock and the fuel tank. Thanks.

The orange o-ring is silicone, black one is rubber...
