isnt that what you call a senior moment,. I have a few of those, I didnt tie down the temp shelter, and it was across the yard yesterday, a 12 x 20 has a lot of lift, so I buried 2 x 2 patio stones 1 1/2 ft. and ran a cable to tie it down ,I hope that will do it,.

so i hope the gear oil is i put it in until it starts to come out i know it says .023L but as you say my senior brain can't calculate L to pints or quarts .lol

I did that too, first time , the air filter was soaked with oil in a short time, get one of those meat injector things at walmart it has mm. marked on them,

I slid under my wife's new Toyota, pulled the plug and drained it into the dirty pan. Pulled it out - fortunately I can tell the difference between ATF and engine oil - even if I can't tell the difference between the drain plugs!
Did this on a Fri night - dealer/parts not open till Monday. As I told my son - "let that be a lesson to you ! , now - let's go clean the toilet with the cat."

My fear, I forget to put back the oil drain bolt. I always check it twice. :)
I always put everyting (oil, filter, etc.) front of me, because if I see the parts, I won't forget anything...
-
thats why I have my wife shes not nagging, shes reminding me,

Hey! How do you remove the filter? Is it in that cylindrical shape area under the dipstick?
-

I always change the oil after a good run to heat the oil, and change the oil hot befor it has time for the crap has time to settle, and the same for the tranny oil,. the two bolts on the left side one is drain and the other is the wire mesh filter , remove the filter with needle nose plyers very gentle it comes out easy, and blow clean and do not over tighten it is alum. nut cap, use reg. oil for break in, I switched to syn. oil at 1,000 miles,.
