You got it! thats what I remember seeing also,  and while you got the crankcase cover off you might wanna install some new roller weights if you planned on it also. You may need a impact wrench or need to rig some device to get the nut off of the variator assembly though somewhere online I found pics of a may to hold the thing still without special tools if you need more info let e know

I use a vise-clamp and a block of wood...lol
