Title: why is the service light blinking on my 2007 people s50 4t?

 starts easy,runs good, does 43mph

Wow, you have a light?  My People 250 just as an odometer-geared indicator to let me know when it's time to change the oil. You push a key in a slot on the back of the headset to reset it.

S250 has blinking SERVICE on LCD display. The problem is that it blinks every 2000 kms while service interval is between 3000 and 8000 km, depending on the market where it was sold and whether it has carb or injection.

I have the same 2007 People S-250.  How is the flashing LCD service warning turned off?  Didn't quite understand comment above.

The procedure how to reset it is described in the user's manual, take a look.

The service light starts fleshing every 2000 kms.

The service interval for S250 is 3000 kms for version with carb and 6-8.000 kms for version with injection, depending on the market where it's being sold.

I have the same red service indicator on after 5000 kms.  Can someone post instruction or point to where it is in the service manual -- I don't have a user manual.
