Title: seat looked

The seat is looked and doesn't open turning the key
only one clamp release the other no
any idea???

Push down hard on rear of seat and have a friend turn and hold key to far left position at the same time, then see if it will unlock.

   I just turn the key and give it a good thump, and it pops open,.  then adjust the cables,

yes what de said adjust the cables and you can make it sensitive and it will be easy to open since i adjusted mine i have no issues
