I'm thinking about getting a windshield for my Venox, can anybody give me anything I may want to consider before I get one?
I plan on getting one to extend my riding season, keep me a little warmer.
Does anybody know a good place to order one?
Also, will this slow my bike down, or cut the air better and improve acceleration?
Thanks!

It will just keep the bugs and wind off your face...

That's cool.
I'm having trouble finding one online, at least ones with decent descriptions.
What's a good site to look at stuff like that?

There's a thread about venox windshields here somewhere...

I have a full one on my scoot, I'll look up the brand next time I ride her. Def cuts the wind, no way it will give you better acceleration, it may limit your top end (never had mine off). But the fact that I've never removed it should tell you how much I like it, even in the hot summer, if I get hit with a sudden downpour it's much easier to stay dry.

That's actually a good thing for me if my top end is limited. If I have a bike that goes 90, I'm goin' 90!

PROS:
Cuts down on wind noise, warmer. More enjoyable ride. I can't live without it.
CONS:
Noticeable reductions in power especially for tall wind screens like the givi I put on my Kymco GV250.
reduces mpg. On my kymco it reduced my mpg by about 5.
Damp conditions will require wiping the mist off.
If the height is not right you can get buffeting.
Must be cleaned or it gets hard to see at night.
If you have lots of bugs needs to be cleaned often.
You may hear noises from your scoot that the the wind noise used to hide.

Lol! Maybe you need to install a loud radio... ;D

OK the brand of windshield I have is Premier and the model is called "Wind".

I have a universal windscreen by Prima on my scoot. MUCH warmer and less wind on your face, neck and upper body. You can order one from Scooterworks.com for about $75. I love mine and don't care if I lose a little speed off the top end for that extra warmth in cold weather. Also, it sure cuts down drastically on the bugs that would be slamming into me without it.
