  for a little more money you could go to HID lights with 3 times the light power,.  i tried all the other lights and found them wanting more light, ended up with HID ,.low beam only

bulb size is H8 available everywhere,

On the plus side I guess it takes the hassle out of changing from low to high beam. Maybe an idea for future 300s

  yes when your low beam is good to see far ahead you do not need high beam,. some have wired there low lights to be on all the time, and high beam when they want it,. all four on , I dont know how to wire for that, when I think to hard smoke comes out of my ears,. dont want to blow a fuse,.

i got the owners manual but bought 1 online .it doesnt tell you everything it shows stuff removed and stuff there but don't tell you how when i had my burgman i had 1 then that showed and did everything .but i guess i paid for what i got i wish i had a better 1  i'll learn eventually just gonna have to dive in it n play

  yes, mine is not to clear on removal of panels , but is good on screws and nuts, with pictures,.   say do you have Skype its what I use to talk to my relatives out west , for free,.

Dede what brand of HID did you install? Can you give me an idea of the cost and difficulty of installation?

the outfit I got was by   H I D country,  cost about $70.00  2 years ago,        had to put my brains in gear to figure out the wiring, it came with a relay,     so the power was on all the time and the relay switched it on and off. through the hi and low beam switch,.  I got the impression that racewalker wired his to be on all the time and may not need a relay I dont understand it ????  I thought the relay helped start the light surge when turned on, just dont know.???

HID lights are illegal... plus do research the housing even with projectors is designed to aim light from a halogen bulb. My best results are with upgraded halogens GP thunder 8500K with two 20W LED fogs...
