Hi guys. I am planning to buy kymco people s 300i, 2009. The seller says it has ABS, but i am not sure about that at all. I have the vin code, RFBD2200081001698. I typed it at several online decoders, but i couldn't find if it has abs or not. If someone can guide me to a proper vin decoder, would be great. Any suggestions or advices are more than welcome. I don't think any People 300i has ABS brakes.
Let him show you the ABS control light on the dashboard!
The split washer disk on the right side of the front wheel doesn't mean ABS, it's used for the speedometer too.

if you can take it for a ride slam on the rear brakes ,you will feel the throb of abs if it is there,

Yeah I wouldn't do that on a bike I'm not familiar with... Especially one I don't own.
Not too familiar with 2 wheeled ABS. Sorry :)

The dealer is probably thinking of the Downtown 300i, it has ABS. The People... not so much. The People GTI in newer models I believe comes in an ABS model.
