Title: 2010 UXV 500 parts & accessories similar to other UTV brands.
Post by: Huntsman on October 06, 2013, 04:26:42 PM
Hello! Just registered here as i had no knowledge of a kymco forum before now. Great.
I became a proud owner of a uxv 500 a mouth ago, and it has been a bloody marvelous machine.
To bad kymco atv/utv's are not popular at all in norway, making it hard to get parts for it.
Thats why im here.

First order of business is to get a windshield for it. Ive seen they have some on ebay etc. but im looking for a shield that covers the whole front.
Alternativly, may other parts from brands like kawa, honda, polaris etc fit my kymco?

I also want to aquire this: KYMCO UXV 500 Hood Rack & Bush Guard Kit
Part # KM-1070-S "S System"

KYMCO UXV 500 Front Light Bar Kit
Part # KM1080-S "S System"

Does it exist a web site that you can order theese parts from?

Welcome to the forum... I don't know about other brands but I know that the UXV engine is the same engine of the ATV MXU 500...

Have you tried Kymco USA?

Yeah, kymcousa.com told me to contact my lokal dealer. And my lokal dealer, or any other dealer in norway as well can't get theese parts.

Anyway, glad to hear the engine is the same as in the mxu.

. Btw. Does anyone here have some experiense with increasing the engine cc? Drilling up the cylinder and install a larger piston. How much can you drill and increase? And what parts besides cyliner and piston would have to be changed?
