I have a LIKE 200i (injected).....I give it a good wipe after each rain-ride. And have waxed the panels a few times, etc.
But have never washed it....The soap and water spraying bit. Mainly under the scoot body and under the engine, and those wheels?
What's the best safe way to clean it stem to stern?
Don't want to screw up the electrics or the finish on the rims, etc.
Here's how some of them do it in the Philippines LIKE Club.....but, I don't know.

Don't worry about a thing Stig, grab a hose, bucket, sponge, car shampoo... place your scoot under a shade (sun is bad news)...
1. No need the cover any part of the scoot, just hose to loosen dirt wiping with a rag at the same time... a little water pressure under the belly, under the fenders to remove those caked on stuff...
2. Then, with your bucket... foam in some shampoo and using a soft sponge, shampoo all parts of the scoot... from top to bottom...
3. Rinse and dry with a shammy... Done...
You can wax the panels afterwards...
I wash my scoot at least once a week... sometimes, I just hose-off the dirt while they are still fresh and let it be... Road dirt/sand contains salt that may corrode stuff on your scoot...
...or.... you can just bring your Like here and I'll ask someone to help....

Thanks you guys! I went to the dealer's - sat on some quietly aging 'new' Kymcos, bought a big bottle of S100 and some more Honda gear oil.
Really liked the '09 People 150 sitting there, kind of olive and cream. A recent trade-in with 1600 miles on it!$1999.
Anyway, now I have the 'good stuff' to wash my LIKEtwohundredeye with~
Must get back under the cammo netting - they have GPS tracking on my cell transmissions according to Darryl, my nephew's brother (also named Darryl) .
He's a strange duck so am not holding my breath; supposedly he is rounding up support for me, on this, day 4 or 5 ,of the Federalies Lock Down.
Long Live the Lettuce Pickers and Scooteristas~!
Darryl..........

Why not do your part to give tax dollars to the Fed and sell your scooter on CL. Use the proceeds to pay taxes and put a down on a new scooter. ::)
Another S100 fan. I also will use Zymol auto wash and a nice big clean sponge. I mainly just rinse, but will use a stronger spray when need be.

Pro-tip. Lemon Pledge and a microfiber cloth is a great, cheap way to clean your plastics AND your face shield. I and many others have used it to keep our bikes pretty for years. Just don't use it on the seat, and keep it off the tires. :)

I just take my scoots to a do it your self car wash. and put the spary on light wash.

How about a bucket of soapy water followed by a bucket of clean water. It's a scooter, not a Ferrari.

08087, Stig's from Ohio. He hasn't a clue what a Ferrari is. Here let me help. It's a Scooter, not a John Deere. ::)

Stig,
You've been awfully silent on this thread. ;)

It rains just often enough here that it usually gets "washed" in the lot at work. :o

Day 6 or 7 of the Govmint ShootDown
Dear Mr. TroutBum, (funny name)
My husband Stig is twixting me with his Cell Maker from someplaces in the State Park ......
Earl is working on another air-drop of Moon Pies and a case of Tim Bits .....
We have to keep these tweaks short and coded by necessitiy due to Those Who Watch Us ......
But Stig is telling me, "Thanks for the pictures - but International Harvester plant is 2 miles away, and we make prettier colors. OK, I-H plant is pretty much defunct , but we had nice colors! ......Power to The Lettuce Pickers & Scooteristas!"
I will be closing now, Mrs. Bernice Stig
PS: Mr. Vivo, that young lady needs help with her trousers!
