Title: two lights above the headlight
Post by: TuttoCambia on August 10, 2009, 08:07:25 AM
Does anyone know what the two lights above the headlight are on agility 50..I just noticed them but I cant find a switch to turn them on. ive tried all my headlight switches but nothing turns them on. I have a spot just above the starter button that looks like a switch could be installed there. I dont see why they would install the lights on the scooter if theres no switch for them. any ideas of what these lights are?

..they are "Position" lamps, and they are not wired into any circuit...at least mine were not.

..the lamps are not drawn into the electrical schematic in the service manual that I downloaded, but there are 2 rear position LEDs drawn on the schematic, that I havn't found on my scoot yet...???

..I did, however, wire the front lamps into the bright beam wiring, which is all I use, and changed the incandescents to LEDs...

peace

I have a number of interesting things in my A125 manual that do not exist in reality. For example, manual gasoline tank-reserve valve.
Also, as I already pointed out, the procedure for oil change is described completely wrongly.

The response made to info@kymco.com as follows:  "These lamps are used in other parts of the world as turn signals.  However, in the U.S. they do not meet the height and spacing requirements for legal highway use."

Urbestfriend replaced the bulbs with Ambers,  hooked up
a Flasher and a Switch and they work like 4 way signals.

Be aware his remark was made 11 years ago. And hasn't been active here in 4 years.
