Title: 2013 kymco like50 2t usa derestriction

I've been advised by a NJ Kymco dealer that removing a washer in the CVI and changing the main jet in the carb will give me more speed. Any comments to this would be greatly appreciated since the current speed is 28MPH max. Thanx

That is true. The 50cc scoots are restricted due to licensing rules in various states that allow riders WITHOUT a motorcycle endorsement to ride scooters and small mopeds. The Like 50 is capable of 40mph with the governors removed however if you don't have the m/c endorsement you could be ticketed!

Yes but there is also exhaust restrictions. Search Wassonii on this forum and you will get alot of good info
