Title: EMPTY-Light On
Post by: KYMCOcruiserGirl on September 22, 2013, 12:23:30 AM
Need ride to go to work Monday!

Bright yellow LO-Fuel light's on, but cannot unlock cap.
Same key let me refuel last month. Same key starts her up.

Locksmith gave up. Any ideas, anyone smart?

Do you push the cap down while turning the key?

Don't know the specific bike, but one possible solution is between the key and the cap, usually via wire cable.
Try to find it under the casing (with torch and 2nd person turning the key).
Many cap locks can be opened carefully with a screwdriver, the wire cable operates a simple nose, pushing it back from the cap into the rim.
