Title: STARTING THE DT 300 i

sometimes and im not sure why.but when i turn the key on sometimes i get a battery light and the DT 300 won't start i can turn key off wait like 3 minutes turn it back on and it cranks has anyone ever had this issue

On my bike make sure your side kickstand is up then  I turn key on wait till engine light goes off, then depress brake and hit starter.
If your bike does not work after doing this then you may have a problem and is best take to the dealer so that they can run a diagnostics.

yeah it's not the side stand.and it's only done it 3 times but if i wait like 3 minutes it starts right up i think the battery is having issues cause when you 1st turn key on everything lights up.when it dont start the battery light comes on it's the original battery it's a used scooter so there is no telling what the previous owner used on the battery .yanno dang well if the dealership knows they ain't gonna tell .

Might be worthwhile to do easy checks like removing the seat tub and checking that the battery terminal cables are snug on the battery. Don't forget the underside push pin on the right side of the bike when removing the tub.

Battery could be marginal, but a dealership or service shop can test it.

i'm gonna change the Battery out i my Dealership gave me a Deltran Lithium Battery Tender i think they run like $124.00 but i need to get a standard charger or a lithium charger my is a pulse charger could damage the battery

  Yes you need a lithium charger, if you have lithium battery,  the charger has to balance the internal cells after the battery is charged,  that is what I was told when I got a lithium battery,.

Sounds like a battery problem to me, if not maybe electrical. A scooter to function properly needs plenty of power from the battery, once you start experiencing problems with scooter starting it usually means the battery needs replacing.
