Hi all! New member here, mainly because I'm interested in the Xciting400i. They are now selling it in Europe, and should be here soon, according to the response I got from KYMCO USA posted Oct. 13, 2013 on the Majesty Forum:
Got a bee in my bonnet and contacted KYMCO. Here is the conversation:
Hi there!
As an ex-Majesty 400 owner, I am VERY interested in the new KYMCO Xciting 400i. Any plans to bring it to the US? From all I've seen, it would KILL the Yamaha Majesty and Suzuki Burgman 400.
Thank you,
Neil Torr
Dear Mr. Torr,
I agree that the Xciting 400i would be a great bike for the U.S. market. We are evaluating it for a 2015 model year launch. Hopefully you will see it in our market next fall.
Thank you for your interest in KYMCO.
Best regards,
Bruce Ramsey

So, look for it at the end of the Summer!

Here's what it will look like!
-
I had planned to upgrade to a piaggio BV350 but this looks even better. I have driven the burgman 400 and liked its speed / power on the highway - a place where my GV struggles to keep up.
-
We already have the 400 here in Malaysia. It is a direct comparison to the SYM MAXSYM 400i.
Having a friend sold his SYM for the Kymco, he's review was that the Kymco's 400 is simply better in every way.

Sign me up! I will buy this as long as the dealers are not charging a premium over list price.

mrbios: Keep your PV350! Plenty of HP there. I would have bought one over my GT300i, but it's wasn't out yet & the dealer is too far away. Plus, they charge insane fees!

No plans to bring it to the U.S. in 2015.
Kymco reply to my e-mail .
:'( :'( :'( :'(

No great loss, its only about 5mph faster than a Downtown with worse fuel consumption, less internal storage and a whole lot more expensive.

Good morning from Egypt, where is the forum for Kymco 400 i in general as I am in need of some help.
-
I wonder if it's available on the USA market yet??
-
Nope! Kymco USA does not list it, in fact the pickings are slim to none.
