Title: How do you change the background color of message box?

When I type as message here (right this instant!) I have a dark blue background and white letters.  Can I change this?  My eyes find this disagreeable.  I see a change color box, but can't seem to make it do anything - not sure what it is for.

Click "PROFILE" (near the top between SEARCH & MY MESSAGES)
Under "Modify Profile" click "Look and Layout Preferences"
Near the top it reads "Current Theme: name of your current theme (change)"
Click on "(change)"
Try a different theme.

Don't know if this will help, but you can try it
