Title: mirror adjustment and made in taiwan sticker
Post by: ispud on August 04, 2009, 05:27:54 PM
Just picked it up and rode it back to my shop - so far so good!  How do you adjust the mirrors?  Don't find any info in the owners manual (this could use some proof reading) and don't want to break anything.  Also how do I get the Giant made in Taiwan sticker off the handlebars?  Why met-in??  Seat open I could understand, but met-in??

Thanks in advance for any answers to my questions!

You'll need an open-end wrench to loosen the collar nut at the base of each mirror stem to rotate the stems. Re-tighten once you have them where you want them. The mirrors themselves pivot a little at the top of the stems -- no tools required, but they may be stiff at first.

Thanks!!

I thought they might move someplace other than the top and bottom - looks like a joint in the middle but that must just be for decoration!  Just went out and twisted the tops a bit - they move nicely.

Sticker came right off.  Planning on removing 4 or 5 of the other stickers plastered all over the scooter as time allows - hope they don't put up much off a struggle - hair dryer and goo-gone is the plan.
