Hey Stig- The picture of your Forza by the field looks like it could be in Oregon.
Heading out to do a circuit I discovered when doing speed runs on my Like200i....( after installing each of these - new coil, plug, fuel pump, sea foam, injector~~~ looking for the cure for the bad throttle body)
This ride involves a 60+ mph (down hill) blast on a couple miles of highway....which was a first for me. I never ride my LIKE much faster than 40-45mph....but figured "what the heck, dealer can't find squat...it's under warranty...if she explodes, I'll get a red one next time!"
:-) Stig
BTW, that mirror reflection of the morning sun was a happy accident...just trying to get my shadow out of the frame.

Nice scoot, thanks for the pictures!
Please post some pictures of your scoot out 'n about the UK - these would be a treat for a fellow stuck in the middle of Ohio with his LIKE.

Thanks Stig. I will do.  Some friends of mine have recently moved from the UK to Columbine and are saying how much they are enjoying life over there. I am really enjoying this forum and learning a great deal

Howdy Kymco Folks,
I thought I should take her for a nice sunny afternoon ride a little out of town today...  8) Can be seen on the pics in the background.
Almost as good as Mulholland....  ;D Almost...  ;) Lots of corners, curves, bends and 180ies. And sun and fun.

We both loved it.  :-*

Sorry, I've been absent for some time, but I finally had a moment to see what's happening here.  vespbretta, did you paint your luggage white on top, or does it come that way in Europe?  I like seeing all the variations of color schemes :)

@CrzRani
In Europe the Kymco Top Case comes white/black. So I just painted the black lower half of the luggage skyblue. I didn´t hit exactely the same Color from the Scooter and it´s not the worlds best paintjob at all, but good enough for me.

Seeing all these other likes in the different color schemes almost makes me want a different color!  :'( :'( :'(

No but seriously, Stig & Vespbretta, your scoots look amazing! As do all the others, but I really like the look of your two bikes :)

The tan/brown combination I went with was a compromise I made with my wife, she said it looked "vintage" ? lol

That color does look vintage. The black, red and blue/white look pretty vintage as well.
VESPA ,though, does some of the nicest colors with their pastels and earth colors.
It was the Vespa/Lambretta shape of the LIKE which drew my attention on the showrrom floor....the colors helped, too!
I was set to get the red one until I found the LX sitting across the floor by the helmet counters. Told the salesman to stiop on the red, start the paper work again on the blue/white LX. He said, "those are an extra $100 !"....I said I don't care, write it up!

Welcome to the forum Beermak. That is a great color for the Like; we didn't  get that one in the U.S. I believe silver was available in Canada.

Here you can get the like in grey (mine) white (my brothers) red and light blue. There where very few ones back in 2009 that came black and blue. Also the only engine available is 125.. if you want something juicer u have to jump to a people 200s and more than twice its price the downtown 300i. So basically 4 likes wont get you a 300i..

Handsome color beermak! Very classy - Vespa-like.
How do you find the stock Kenda tires in the wet? And, how do you find the seat for comfort?
Do you commute to work on your scooter? Pictures of you & scooter out & about in your country, please!

I do daily comute to work. Its all city mostlly my riding. I live in downtown buenos aires and scooting was my only option when i moved and didnt get any subway access there. Car wasnt considered due to the traffic and strugle parking would become.
The tires are ok, for the moment i plan to keep them but might get rid of them in a near future for a pair of metzelers.. in rain i did find them ok but they have a lot of thread and they are almost new. I guess that in a short time they will show that they aren't really good overall. Which im prepared..
The seat i find it adecuate im 5-7 and thats about the limit in being adecuate and impossible to ride. I did consider a replacement from the dealer in other color, nicer sinthetic leather and getting it better shaped. Its not cheep but its something to consider.
I promise to get some pics from the jungle [emoji2]
This is my second scooter and im very confident that for city commuting a scooter is impossible to beat!!

Welcome Easy,
Now that I did not know. Have seen pix of the LIKE in UK cycle shops and always thought they were the 163cc scoot or a 50cc.
Nice picture of your scooter. Thanks for sharing.
How do you find the traction of stock Kendas on moist UK roads?
Senior scooter rider in the Philippines advised me early on to get the Kendas off ASAP since I was going to commute in all weathers. Went to Michelin City Grips at @400 miles - at 10400 they still look pretty good.... especially the front. No issues with them in the wet....or even a bit of snow.
Ride safe & please keep sharing pix of scoot in UK settings!! (very interesting to a guy in Ohio corn fields!!)

Thank you Stig your scoot looks great too..I only got the scoot 2 weeks now..had only 260km when I got it so Kenda tyres are brand new and m quite happy till now..

I ride it everyday to get to work - done over 600km by now- and some of those days I have ridden under rain. Grip is good & a couple of times gone through slightly flooded roads with small pools of water ridding at 40-50km with no problem.

.Do u think Michelin have better grip on wet?

I am told that they do - also have been told that the Kendas are nylon tires - which explains their long wearing nature. But it seems to make sense that  hard/long-wearing & limited sipe (grooves) tires are not going to have the traction which you get with softer compound tires & plenty of water-draining sipes....like the Michelin City Grips. Several top end scooters come with Michelin City Grips as standard.
