Are the torque drive all the way out on the picture ?

On my scooter it looks like it goes out more.

Super 8 / Re: What do you think about the seat ?

I don't like the angel on the seat. I slide forward so have to sit and push back with the feet.
This angel seems like the norm on scooters.

I just dump your URL into http://translate.google.com/ and it works OK. Not always the best translations but I get most of it. And thanks for the headlight info on the Super 8 by the way.
Problem with google translate is that it changes the website.

Some sites have a flag near the top of the page asking you what language you want to communicate in.
I have that to. English and danish flag at the top.
And if you dont choose it used the browsers settings so it should be in english for international users.

I have a head cold and am bushed from work - tried to sign in on your site - no able to.
What was the problem, where did you get stuck ?
I have just added some english text at the top of the board so new users can understand better.

Scootergrisen, you been hangin' out with Slinger?  Welcome back!
I dont know who Slinger is. But thanks. Been working on my website and forum answerings peoples questions so i forget to visit the other forums.

Super 8 / Re: Derestrict CDI video
« on: August 27, 2013, 03:20:11 PM »
What ever happened with your Super 8 lights. Was it just replacing the light control box? Did that fix them for good?
Removed the light control box and did alot og wires and ekstra fuses. And it has been working for since although i have has some bad conncection problems because i cant solder the wires so good.
So not recomended solution, just remove light control box and do the 2 x relay solution. But i thought of that after i did all the wires. And now i dont want to mess with i anymore as long as it works.

If engine dont run with stator connector removed its proberly a AC CDI that gets its electricity from the stator.
My scooter is DC CDI and it gets the electricity from the battery.

General Discussion / Making my website more english-friendly

Hi i have this website about scooters : http://scootergrisen.dk/

Its in danish language but i want to make it more english-friendly so i have translated the menu and other parts of the website, not the main content itself.

My goal is it make the website more usefull and easier to navigate and contact me for people who understand english and dont understand danish.

Also i have a forum/board : http://scootergrisen.dk/forum/ that i would like to be more english-friendly so i made a english forum for that so people can come and ask different questions about scooters in english.

I would like your comments on how it is to navigate and understand the website.

« on: February 25, 2013, 07:57:29 PM »
I want to buy bearings for my Kymco Super 8 50 cc 4 stroke but i cant find any information about the size of the bearings.
Can anyone find the size for me ?

I could just but a new crankshaft with the bearings installed but its a little expensive and i would also like to try and change the bearings for my self.

You can take out the yellow plastic piece and use a tiny screwdriver og something pointy and remove one of the purple wires, then wrap it with tape. That way you dont have to cut anything and you can put the wire back in at a later time if you deside it.

Before you do that you should derestrict the variator by buying a smooth bush like this.

And then take the original bush out.

Super 8 / Malossi multivar for Kymco Super 8 50cc 4 stroke
« on: May 31, 2012, 07:46:34 PM »
What package are you people using for Kymco Super 8 50 cc 4 stroke ?

I have been trying to get the right package for some days now but first i got 5113139 and found out that wassent the right model even though it could be put on, then i got 5113269 beforce the people send me the wrong even though i orderen 5113790 which i want.

Do anyone know the exact difference between 5113139 and 5113790 ?

There are difference in the bush and spring numbers in the 2 packages but no one is able to tell me the difference.
Did malossi just change the numbers and not the content ?

I made this page about Malossi multivar : http://scootergrisen.dk/scooterhjemmeside/malossimultivar.php

Maybe problem with carburetor.

Is there a accelerator pump on your carburetor ?
If there is, its pupose to give a extra squirt of fuel. Maby its not working.

Anyway try cleaning the carburetor inside and se if there is a difference.
Also try cleaning the airfilter.
