Not to poo poo on your new purchase in fact I wish you lots of joy but.... I once asked my shop what scooter was the worst to work on and every guy said hands down it's the Burgman. I know motorcycle mechanic generally dislike working on scooters so if scooter mechanics hate it it's gotta be a pain. I hope it was just bias and not truth though. You might find out the up keep to be pricey.

Went out last night to get a cheese burger. Forgot my wallet. Trying to speed things up I hurried back home and left my helmet off. I was going 45 or 50 when i checked my left to see if the lane was clear. The wind ripped my glasses off my head that i bought last week. I pull over and blindly look for my glasses when a car drives by and thump thump. I was stuck blind out on the road. It was aweful.

My first 3 didn't. My People GTi 300 does. But I am the second owner. The original owner may have hade them balanced. He removed the word People from both sides.

Maxi is loosely defined. I do not like maxi style. For example the Silverwing, My Road, and Downtown. Just a personal taste in style. But some might say my People is a maxi but I've never seen it that way. Although the 2015 TMax is one nice looking maxi. It may be the only maxi I really like.

Soooo..... no? Hmm maybe i need to start a scooter company. It'll be the first to offer sport scooters. Finally giving people the option to buy a sport scooter. And the price will make sense. 700cc scooter is 10 grand, 700cc motorcycle is thousands less and has more hp and performance parts options.

The Myroad 700 has about 60 hp and the suzuki r6 600 has about 30 more hp. Why do scooter motors suck at hp and has anyone ever tried to put a sport bike motor in a scooter?

If its the same one i got it isnt accurate. Service intervals are wrong, steps to do simple services (airfilter) have you tear the whole bike apart, and dont follow the final drive oil instructions it made me over fill and caused problems
