MICHELIN City Grips @ 7500 miles
« on: February 04, 2015, 08:18:08 PM »
7,500 miles with a left handed counter-steerer on a 2012 LIKE200i LX.
Plenty of tread both ends. Scooter, too. Good tires - will put them on my Forza when the time  comes.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

7.5k and looking good Stig. Maybe another 3-4k on the rear?

You guys put me on to these tires early on when I mentioned I'd be commuting daily in every kind of weather.
I know Michelins....have had them on every car except Continentals on a vw bug (great tire) and the infamous "singing" Pirellis (big mistake) on a Toyota. Was SO happy after I admitted my mistake s put Michelins on!
Probably lots of good scooter tires out there, but I cannot afford to experiment.
City Grips have been all I could hope for.....that front will be there for the next guy that finds my scooter idling in the  shrubbery after I'm high-sided in the Rapture!

That's one hell of a way to estimate tire wear. Can't say I've ever heard it put like that before.  :o
