Our tv weather people do like to spice up the UK's rather boring weather. This time, what's commonly known as 'winter' has been replaced by the 'Beast from the East'. It's being used to describe a cold weather front pushing in from Siberia, which has already engulfed most of Europe. It's not with us yet, but it'll be here on late Monday or Tuesday. Of course, by the time it gets here it will only be a bit chilly and maybe a dusting of snow. It'll not last.
Anyway, as it was a nice day, I thought I'd take it for a wash and a brush up before it's annual inspection next week

And looking East. Not many Beasts that way (as yet!)

:D Yes! ;D

Here in Derbyshire we are expecting the same. This has been a very long winter with seemingly endless grey skies. Let's hope we see snow and that Spring and riding weather follow pretty quickly

We're having the Big Spring Sale on trees here in Ohio ......will trade for sweaters.
Also, we have a boat-load of pot-holes.....seems you might need some of those, too....make us an offer.

Been and gone Lou. It's still not warm (in fact it's wet and 'orrible), but at least the snow has all gone - apart from the remnants of my snowman (must be PC - snowperson).
Still, it was good enough for me to pull on the waterproofs and head out today to experience the new sterring head bearings. So light and accurate now. See when somethings knackered but you just get used to it? Well that was me.

How many miles on scooter before the head bearings went south?

They were an 'advisory' last year and this year they definitely needed doing. Mileage is around the 20,000 mark give or take 100 either way.
