Issues been resolved. I changed the oil and now when I take the highway I only keep it in the 50mph range. Seems to do fine. I think it was just 2-up and going 60-90 that's not good for  This scooter. It's fine when I keep it below 60 but once i go over 60 the engine seems to be over strained.

Yes I have. For some reason it squeaks regardless of setting and isn't smooth when I go over bumps. Feel like the shocks are weak.

My people 150 shocks squeak and are pretty weak in my opinion. Whenever I go over a bump I feel the impact pretty strong. I'm looking to replace em with after market shocks that are stronger but not sure where to start. Any suggestions appreciated thanks .

Had the same issue. Knocked on the relay and replaced the battery and it started right up

Anyone else have this issue when they push the scooter to max mph for long distances?

The other day I took a passenger on the highway and I was going 60+mph no issues. After dropping her off on the way back my scooter started dying on the highway. Same route, same speed. It bogged down and decelerated until the engine shut off and I had to pull over to the side to safety. Everyone else was going 60-90 mph. I figured it must've been overheating so I waited 10-20 minutes and tried to restart the bike. It got going but the same thing happened again after I reached that speed of 60+mph. What issues could be affecting the scooter? How do I avoid this.

Fixed the issue, seems to be a stuck starter relay. Charged up the battery and knocked on the solenoid (starter relay) seems to have fixed the issue.

People 150 / People 150 - won't shut off and now won't start

So I recently bought a 2009 people 150 scooter and had absolutely no problems riding it. Now it's been a couple of weeks. I left it in the rain for the first time (covered it with 2 jackets). When I come back to start it about 7 hours later, it wouldn't shut off. The starter would keep clicking even after I turn off the key and turn the kill switch to off. I believe the battery finally drained out completely, because now when I turn the key nothing turns on. I tried to kickstart it as well and got nothing. Any ideas??
