my agilty did the same thing got up to speed just fine and road great.but when I took it in for repair
it was the main crank was bend warrenty coverd most of it but out pocket was about 300 maybe thats whats wrong with yours you do have a lot of miles on it.they told me that you realy have to keep the oil up on these scoots when they get hot the crank well bend and wear out faster. mmm not to sure about that. but yet it sounds right.

Congratulations on the pending new arrival.

I wonder what an appropriate scooter warming gift is?

Maybe I should have placed more emphasis on the appropriate part!

dang, you can have borrowed my S , it will just sit and get dusty anyway for the next few months!
And I would have had a heck of a good time driving it down to ya!!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to skid in broadside , thoroughly used up , totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!!"

Well, all the best with it wordslinger, you are a people person after all.:)
"Going Charlottesville and it's raing", I can feel for you there, we are going to Adelaide tomorrow with the dogs in the back of the ute and the camper trailer and it started raing this afternoon, supposed to rain all weekend in Adelaide as well. Oh well, the things we do for amusement.

Hey, you might not have to raise the back end on this one since it's got the taller tires.  :D

The ride in the rain is worth it to have ya some wheels. Just be careful on those curvy mountains up there. Have a safe trip, wordslinger. Looking forward to pics of your new ride.

I'll be interested to hear how much difference the windshield makes for winter riding.

On some of those very cold days I've thought about putting on a windshield to dry and deflect some of that cold air.

..well, as it turned out, itsa 2007 people 50...not an S..and though, the S would have been frikin awesome!!..i'm kinda glad it's like my 2001...it only has 2014 kms....

..has some plastic damage ie: the lower left footboard panel is missing, (the one that hides the side kick mechanism) as well as the back half of the front wheel's splash guard, and the spark plug access cover is also not there......it's been shoddily painted black, was blue originally...has no mirrors, but imma put the ones from mt 2001 on it...tires are in great shape with no cracks and new-looking cheng-shin tread...can locate no leaks in any of the fliud conduits...
..haven't inspected the cvt yet, and i ain't gonna delve into that tonight...
..rode it back home from my workplace, as that's where i met up with my ride to charlottesville this morning...
..fires up with a touch of the starter button, and kick-starts by hand!!...initial take-off was slow to respond, at first, but that smoothed out after a few miles..scoots been in storage for a year...
..carries my 220 lb ass uphills at 45 mph indicated, and the one time i let it wind out full-throttle downhill, it hit 80 kmh before i let off the throttle..(just hadda see if it would)

..all this with a stock, and apparently de-restricted setup...

..it was worth the $500.00 and the 400 mile round trip....

..Thanx to rianna for helping me locate!!!

 ;)

Good to be back in the saddle I bet!

Sounds like she needs a bit of love, but I'll bet you'll have some led lights on it within a few weeks!
