Signal lights won't blink
« on: June 07, 2023, 12:49:35 AM »
Hello Group,

When I turn on either left or right signal lights, the lights (front and rear) will illuminate, but not blink.  Same results for both sides.

My guess is the turn signal relay, but not sure where it's located.

Thanks, Jay

@PettyMower welcome here!
Your indicator/blinker relais should be under your scoots front plastic cover, beneath its headlight.
Has to be removed for changing.

Either you get an original one or you take a car part and change connectors to fit.
For parts pls see pics.

Maybe give us a feedback to learn.

Thanks for the reply.
I took a bunch of screws out, enough to reach down in, and put my hand on the relay....but couldn't get to the screw holding it in place.
So, was trying to figure out what needed to be taken apart next.  And just for the heck of it, I tried the signal lights again, and they worked. The scooter has been sitting up all winter, and maybe my battery connection was a little loose....not sure.
Anyway, it's working fine, and I've tried it several times....all good.
Thanks, Jay

I posted pics of the scooter in the "For Sale" section.
I'm ready to sell, but not sure what to ask for it.
It's a 2009 model.
Any idea what I should ask....just looking for a fair price.
Thanks!

Just as an average here in Italy.
MJ 2009, in sound condition, taxes paid, MOD valid, no scratches, no visible faults, below 20.000 kms,  go for €600,- to €900,-

OK....thanks!  I should have mentioned I'm in the USA.
It's in excellent with only 2,225 kms.  Almost like new.

my 2010 People S200 with 4600 miles and also in excellent condition...I would ask, and expect to get, $1500 USD. Is yours original..meaning belt, rollers, plug, filters, hoses, tires, brakes, fluids, etc.? That can affect price.

Around here you can't ever find a 150cc class scoot for less than $1000 USD. Even some pretty beat up ones go for $1200. 50cc's and no name Chinese junk are always available but no one wants them.

It has 1,383 miles, and is completely original.  Well, except I had to change a part on the carburetor....I think it was a solenoid.
The neighbor bought it new, and she used to ride it to work. When she moved last year she gave it to me.
So, any reasonable price is fine with me.
It looks almost like new....almost perfect.  And runs great.  Starts right up, ride it anywhere.
I'm sold off all my Mopeds, and my other scooters.  It used to be a hobby of mine years ago.
And I'm not getting back into it....it's taking up space in my garage...ready to let it go.
