I have found a almost new super 8 150 engine. How could i tell if it would work. I tell ya it looks like it would from the pics but that doesnt mean sh^&. It is missing a cvt cover and i would have to use my variator and clutch plus my cvt cover. I swear it looks like my cvt cover would fit righton it . What do i need to measure to find out if it will fit? Does anybody know or has anybody done this swap.

Given your user name and no other info, I would have to say no, it won't fit your Harley. ;D

simple answer, no, it will not fit, engine mounts are different, CDI and associated wiring is different, i could go on, but can't remember all.
MarioG is a pretty clued up guy, you could ask him?

ok so i dont get along with mario and wer dont reply to each other posts. Has anybody looked at replacement engines. They make the mounts pretty much the same as far as i can find. The motor mounts is never the issue its alwasy the length of the cvt and the wheel size the engine is made to work with. Im not trying to ask a question and then give an answer to it. I surely dont know for sure but i do know if a agility 125 engine can be made to work on a honda ruckus then i know i can make any engine work on mine. Thanks anyhow. I dont care for anybodys opinion who says a magnetic oil plug is useless!!

Here is what a rep from kymco says. It has the same mount as far as the engine mount but i would have to use the wheel size from the super 8 150. I just dont thnk i am gonna do this being i would have two diffrent wheels
