Title: How to remove rev limiter on kymco super 9 2007?

Hi, I have a 2007 kymco super 9 AC and removed the step off the bossin the transmission and I was wondering how to remove rev limiter. I know where the CDI box is but dont know what wires to what. Any Idea Cheers.

Hi, Nicholas Carrero, welcome to the forum. I'm not sure about changes over the years on those Super 9s, but is your CDI like the one in the pics in this thread here?

The air cooled Super 9 has an AC CDI box.  You can re wire the harness at the CDI, and then at the ignition switch so that a DC CDI off the liquid cooled bike can help.  I usually don't stray at all from the 50cc scooter subforum, but happened across this. :)

I can help you out with the wiring info if you need it.  It does make a difference.

I have an 09 S-9 that does not have the blue wire to unplug. How do you fix it please?

Rev limiter is very useful part in the car which used for the purpose of preventing from over- reving, which destroy your car engine. I have not any idea about it. I suggest you that you can heir good mechanic for it who is specialist for it.

I don't understand what do you want to say so that pleas tell me what do you want to know from me? I have no any idea about  Areomsyt. So tell me what is it? and give more information about this.

Thank you so much to give me a reply.Such a nice posting creating by you and you solve my problems.Rev limiter  is the best part of the car engine .You must care your car fuel pump to remove rev limiter from kymco super 9.

I'm getting... The fuel flow has to keep up with a de restricted engines rpm's. Good point! It has never been an issue on these scoots luckily. There are several vacuum operated pumps on the market for this too.
