Title: 2015 Kymco 50R 4T Speed
Post by: AylmerFreerider on June 17, 2017, 09:35:24 PM
Hi All,

I have been trying to get my scooter to go 44mph (70kmh) on flats.

Currently I get 37mph (60kmh) on flats.

Here is what I have done so far:

Removed Violet w/red stripe wire from CDI (Have not been able to fine an 8 pin unrestricted CDI)
Smooth Boss
82 Jet
Polini Hi Speed Variator (6.9gr Rollers)
Technigas Silent Exhaust (popping noise when I come off the gas to quickly, order the socket for the d screw air/fuel mixture)

I have order a tachometer and am about to order fa set of new jets (82-100)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

My thanks in advance

Hmm, that does sound weird. Just by changing to a smooth boss on my Agility 50 I was able to do 65kmh. How many KMS on it? And have you checked the sparkplug/carburetor/clutch lately?

I purchased this brand new.  It only did 50kmh even on a steep downhill when I bought it.
I have roughly 600kms on it now.
