Hello i'm from Montreal,
I'm new to the forum and I bought a Kymco Like 2014 2T with only 65 miles! A real chance, the person used it to get his mail only ...
Under the seat off the scooter there is a jet and the sleeve for the variator, never install.
Is there any other restriction on this model?
I will take other pictures and post them later.
Thank you.

Welcome LIKE owner!
Don't know much about 2 strokes myself - but someone will chime in here soon.
(soon as saw the title of your post I thought, "If it's a 50cc, let's see how long he takes before asking 'go faster' questions)
Not long....
Enjoy!

I never seen a 49cc scooter with so many restrictions!
I removed the 2 tubes of the exhaust and the ring at the entrance, installed a new Malossi variator with rollers 7g with the white spring and change the main jet for a #82.
The acceleration was little slow, looking at the entry of the air filter box and I see that it was very small...
Luckily this restriction was just entered by pressure. Easy to remove ...
Before i remove the airbox restriction, i hit 71 km/h (44mph)!
Do you think the main jet #82 is big enough !?

Hi!
Glad to see you've found most of them!
I'd be tempted to leave the main jet for now; the bike's nearly new and you'll probably find it loosens up quite a bit with use!

I removed the restriction at the entrance of the air box and immediately felt that it was becoming lean with jet # 82.
The original carburetor works much better with this restriction!
Here a picture of my GPS with the top speed i hit, flat road and no wind and the scooter only have 112 Miles, break in not finish! 45mph

For sure, that airbox restriction is a tough son of a gun! The bike on the stock carb runs finnecky without it!
