My Kymco Like Battery
« on: October 30, 2022, 07:25:31 AM »
Hi.  I've noticed the digital clock on my Kymco Like II 125 has reset a couple of times recently, does this mean that my battery needs changing?
It's around 2.5 years old and done around 6500 miles.

Welcome to the forum Fraser.

In my experience battery life can be anything from 3 to 7 years depending on use & care!  BUT as you’ll read on here Kymco scoots seem particularly sensitive to low voltages on older batteries.  So what I’m saying is that it could be your battery, but it may yet have life left in it.

What brand is it and do you use a battery tender?
Regards & ride safe,
Neil
