Probably one vane from a wind turbine. They are much longer than they appear from a distance.
That was my guess, but could be a plane wing also.... hard to tell.

Most of the handle bars are so high off the fork that it has to affect blood flow to the hands and arms. Just my .02 cents worth...

When I had my P150, I asked my local dealer about this, and they were unable to find anything to fit it. That's been a few years since then, so maybe someone has made one by now. Good luck with your search. (You might also want to post this thread in the general or technical sections of the forum to get more attention.)

I love sleeping in, even though I'm not that old. Besides, our 4 dogs will make sure I don't sleep too late!

Thanks so much for the warm words, Stig, Cross, and Trout. I will be in touch and checking in here because this was the first place that welcomed me to the scooter world and provided so many tons of useful information and entertainment. You all on this forum are like a second family to me.

As for the early morning riding, I really admire those of you who do this, but by the time I get 4 dogs fed, two baby goats bottle-fed, and the chickens turned out and fed, it's time for my lovely wife to arise. I love being able to finally get to share breakfast with her after all those years. Also, I've never really been a morning person except out of necessity for the job. Now, I like waking up with the sun up, bright and shining - wasn't a big fan of going to school and coming home in the dark for most of the school year.

Sorry I have been MIA lately. Over the past 2 years since retirement, my wife and I have seen a lot of changes to our lifestyle, such as dealing with both of our aging parents in many ways, and the recent death of my father, which means more changes.

We are also, because of the price of fuel, consolidating many of our trips to only once a week, which means we are carrying a lot of stuff with us (too much for the scooters) as we run errands, drop off stuff for the parents, take them to Dr appointments, and so forth . Also, my wife has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and is no longer able to take the pain associated with riding scooters (bumps, wrist, head, heat, cold, etc.) and I don't really want to spend my retirement riding alone without her. Riding together is how we started and it's just what we do, so riding really looses a lot of its meaning to me when riding alone.

So bottom line is that we made the very difficult and sad decision to sell our scooters. With all the lifestyle changes lately we just had to do it. I will still be here checking on all of your exploits, but for now I will have to ride vicariously through your scooter adventures. Keep those tires rolling for us!

Last week we had a storm blow through and leave 2 inches of snow on the ground. It was melted by evening, but sure left a mess that took three days to dry out. I feel your pain.

Great shots, Stig, but looks rather chilly. You are a brave man, sir, and a credit to the scootering community.
