Title: Exact Engine Displacement For 2014 Movie?
Post by: yodaismycopilot on February 21, 2016, 05:05:30 AM
Thanks for anyone who can help with this. I am interested in a 2014 Movie but I need to be legal for the freeway occasionally here in California, where the vehicle code states that the engine displacement must be "more than" 149cc. The Kymco website says it is 149cc but I could really use that extra digit of accuracy! :-) For example, the Kymco USA website stated that the 2014 Super 8 150 was 149cc when it is, in reality, apparently either 149.4cc or 149.7cc. This is crucial for me here in CA. Thanks again!!!

Apparently I misunderstood. Looks like you need 150cc minimum for CA freeways. I'm not sure where I got the "more than 149cc" idea. My bad.

Are you worried about getting pulled over by a cop and possibly having your scooter towed?
