I have 12g rollers on my 2011 and it excelerates faster than it ever has and it's been almost 95mph indicated with my fat 250 pound carcass on it. It's got 15K miles with no problems other than probably needing a new belt.

I ride the DT quite a bit so it doesn't sit very often or for very long. I will be getting a new belt soon so I'll have them check everything out and let everyone know what it was.

I know single piston motors have the reputation of heavy vibration at low RPM but I'm noticing lately that it's getting stronger. This happens when the motor is cold, as the motor heats up it somewhat goes away. This has always been the case but in the last couple thousand miles has gotten worse. I have about 14K miles on it, I get normal oil changes (synthetic) and the valves were checked at about 8500 miles. Once motor comes to normal operating temps it's fine. The motor seems fine all the way through the RPM range but has heavy vibration in the lower RPM's when cold. Is this normal ?

I just had to get a new tire, my last one was a bit shorter than stock. The new tire is stock size and now I'm noticing that it'll show 90+mph indicated. I've never been able to do this. My belt has almost 14K miles on it maybe it's reduced weight from having so many miles on it is making a difference. The fastest I've been able to get prior to this is about 86mph indicated. I used to do 70mph at 7K RPM but now it's showing about 6K rpm. I've had the 12g rollers for about 6K miles. The rollers are cheap just get the 12g and if you don't like it go to 13g and be done. 12g rollers make the DT pretty zippy.

Im going on 13K miles and have 12g rollers. I know most will say it's too light but it runs fine. I will be replacing the belt in the next couple of weeks.

It's been a couple thousand miles since I had my 14g's replaced by some 12g's. Just checked my milege and I'm getting 69.3 which is just under a mile or so I got with the 14g's. 60mph is right at 6k rpm and 70mph is at 7k rpm. Runs great and snappy off the line.

I went in for my 10K mile service and had them changed from 14GR to 13GR. Not much noticeable change but they work. I would put more miles on it but I just got a new mid-life crisis toy. It's a 2013 Nissan 370Z with a twin turbo and exhaust on the way. 500hp at the wheels will be a nice change from 28hp.

Pretty cool commercial. Towards the end it states 32.78/8000 (ps/rpm).....I can't even get mine to 8K rpm, do the new DT's have more power?
