Title: Any recommendations for stronger shocks on kymco people 150?
Post by: Thewanderingped101 on June 11, 2016, 07:03:09 PM
My people 150 shocks squeak and are pretty weak in my opinion. Whenever I go over a bump I feel the impact pretty strong. I'm looking to replace em with after market shocks that are stronger but not sure where to start. Any suggestions appreciated thanks .

Just curious, have you adjusted the preload tension on the rear ?

Yes I have. For some reason it squeaks regardless of setting and isn't smooth when I go over bumps. Feel like the shocks are weak.

I'm surprised you are having troubles - I never had any problem with my People's shocks; the ride was very smooth. Probably start at a scooter or motorcycle dealer because they will have knowledge of the correct shocks to use on a two-wheeler. You might also try posting this in the "Technical/How To" section for more attention from the wrenchers/gearheads.
