Like 200i Mirrors
« on: January 30, 2024, 04:32:06 PM »
Does anyone know where I can purchase the bolt/mount for the stock mirrors?  One of mine was bent/broken.  See photo below of the part I am trying to source.  Thanks!

@awluter welcome here!
Depends where you are located at.
Here in Europe I would look into EBAY or any other internet platform for a used mirror plus part.

Or I would take this part and try my luck at any motorcycle shop which sells asian/ japanese bikes.
It'a very common socket with an 8mm thread and should be available easily.

I'm assuming that the part in the photo is the undamaged mirror adapter, yes?
These LIKE mirrors have a smooth stem, no threads!
So, I suspect that this mirror-stem, locking fitting is going to be a tougher find. It works by pinching, compressing the adapter around the smooth mirror stem to lock the mirror in place - if remember correctly?
There are a million "mirror adapters" out there - but I saw none like this one as used by Kymco on the LIKE.
I found a pair of used mirrors on ebay. A new mirror with the fitting is @$48.
Maybe you could find this piece of hardware at a Fastenal store - or at least learn what they are called - so you can search for one?
Welcome to the forum and good luck!
