Interesting printed statement found in my cyclepedia KYMCO LIKE200i manual.
"The recommended gasoline to use is 87 minimum octane regular unleaded. In may areas,
oxygenates (either ethanol or MTBE) are added to the gasoline. Oxygenated gas containing up to 10%
ethanol, 5% methane, 5% MTBE are acceptable gas."
True, if ethanol gas was really blowing up Ducatis, Hondas, Suzukis, Vespas, Yamahas,Kymcos and BMW bikes & scooters in Ohio - - there would be no two wheel motor sport dealers remaining because there are no ethanol free pumps around.
So, pour it in and worry about something else.

Agreed Stig. The only important thing is to run the scooter regularly and dont let it sit with the ethanol too long, especially carburated ones.

I stoped running nonn ethanol after about 5 months of owning the Like 50 I run and have it tuned to perform best on 93 octane. course for 15 months it barely had a tank of gas in it longer than 2 days. . . .

you can go coast to coast on non Eth. gas with Canadian tire gas bars, 93 Oct. only

what else can they say???
