Side By Side / Front diff issues
« on: October 07, 2018, 12:07:58 PM »
Hey guys,

So I’m having some issues with the front diff on the 450 and was wondering if anyone else had any.  Mine was fixed under warranty once.  I thought it had broke the spring inside but it broke a peice of metal that engages the 4x4. I just took it out on a muddy trip and noticed it’s intermittently working.   When it does catch it makes some pretty loud noises then stays engaged for a while but won’t stay in full lock.

Side By Side / Water in the frame
« on: August 12, 2017, 11:48:18 AM »
Hey guys

For those of you who go through fairly deep water with your 450s: make sure you pull a couple bolts out of the skid plate when your done.   Seems there is nowhere for the water to escape but obviously it gets in through a couple holes in the frame.  Might even drill some small holes to let it out.  I happened to notice the water run out when I took the skid off to route wires for my winch.   Ran for a good period.

Side By Side / Which kymco
« on: May 28, 2017, 06:47:28 PM »
Hi everyone.  It's been awhile.  Just looking for some opinions.  I had a uxv 500 in the past but found it to slow too much on steep climbs.  So I bought a rzr570. I recently got ride of it and was looking for something alittle more family oriented. So I was looking into the 450i. Basically had my mind set up.  I've Read a lot of reviews that said it felt better than the 500 etc.  However I just found a 2016 uxv 700with 80 miles for  the same price as a new 450i.  For those of u that have either one of these machines which one would you buy?   I'm kinda leaning towards the 450i because I have a young son that would still squeeze into the middle of the bench seat.  Thoughts?

Hey I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with blowing the ignition fuse when stepping on the brake.  I have traced wires from front to back and  can't find anything.  It is very sparatic when it does it.  Thanks.

Hey guys. I just bought a uxv and am planning to put 26 9 12s all the way around. My question is will I need a clutch kit?  If so will I need a whole kit or is anyone just running a spring?  Anything else I need to know about these things maintenece wise?  Thanks in advance!
