How did your tank get crushed?  I am enjoying my Piaggio Medley a lot but may upgrade to the Beverly in a couple of years.

Sounds like bad plastic molding....too thin? Tank collapsed as fuel emptied. ....crazy!

The Evap system may have done it as there was major vacuim  when I opened the gas cap,  then I filled with gas I could only put in 5.6 Lt.s  so I pulled the tank hose off and pumped 10 Lb. of air in it and it poped out to 9.6 Lt.s on a fill,.  now I am waiting for a new tank ,

;D  the new tank came in and I removed old tank,   the only thing is the tank is wrong one the gas filler cap is wrong, so parts all over the floor, in garage,  all the tupper ware is off,  It is a good time to do the valves , found out all I need is two valve shims # 285 @ $11.00 each,  pull a clip out beside the rockers and then slide the rockers over and switch shims 280 to 285 on the intake valves then push the clip back in ,.  so quick.,   and so easy with the gas tank out of the way,.   the shims are 9.45 mm wide and thickness is now 285 mm.   they look like small round batterys for a watch,.

I bought a full set of shims off Ebay for $35.
Fellow just used 2....there were several of each....so he sold it as "full set".
Bought the set for my Honda Forza, after seeing how much Honda wanted for one shim!
Hope you get that crazy tank situation sorted!

Oh, that really sucks! So many evil thoughts/emotions to be suppressed when that happens. Hope it gets sorted without too much pain!
