I haven't been on in awhile as I have been preoccupied. I just wanna put it out there that the Scoot is still available and has been ran once a week for the last few months. Mileage is almost identical to before and price still stands but is somewhat negotiable. I am unable to post pics due to the device I am using but would be happy to send some if anyone is interested!

Yes, still hoping for around $950.00. I apologize for not replying fast I'm afraid its due to the same reason I haven't posted it on Facebook, I have been extremely busy recently. I was hoping to find it a nice home with someone here on the forum but seeing as how nobody is interested I may just sell it off to a shop that deals in Chinese scoots for slightly less than my original asking price.

Wow haha it has I didn't realize it had been so long! The scoots hardly changed, I still push it out, clean it monthly, and run it weekly. I like to keep it in tip top shape although due to the shortness of the runs the mileage its almost identical. I guess I am the kind of person who likes to keep things in good shape you know "preserve" them. I actually have had 2 chances to sell the scoot for the money I wanted but passed them up. First to a Chinese scoot shop who offered me slightly less than asking price, but I declined because I knew someone who had got a DUI would come in, buy it, and trash it in a week (no offense to anyone but I mean you guys know the kind of person I am talking about). More recently I had a friend offer to buy it but he is the sort of person who sees everything as being very disposable and would never bother to keep it up. I know to many people this seems ridiculous but the scoot has very low miles, it runs great, and yes I had a small accident with it but its in good condition still its just needs a mild amount of sanding and a respray and you'd never know. I am fully open to entertaining offers for this scoot as I know I do need to get rid of it finally. I couldn't care less if the buyer customizes it beyond recognition I just don't want to see it torn to pieces, motor destroyed, and forgotten about. It is 12 years old now and I think it would be a shame for it to have survived and been kept up extremely well for so long just for someone to come along and ruin it. Hopefully someday it will end up with a good owner who will see it as a Kymco S9 and not just as a moped.

It's hard to part with something you love for sure. Myself I've bought a few Suzuki Burgman 650's with CVT problems which I repair because I don't like seeing them go to the junkyard. I haven't sold any of them though I should cut down on the scoot I have.

I have got to interject a little perspective here. Everything ends up in the junkyard or dump eventually. Its a scooter, not a kitten. When you sell it, put it in your rear view mirror and move forward with cash in hand. (Hopefully to get another beloved scooter)

I am afraid that's what I will have to do probably the next reasonable offer I receive will be accepted. Life goes on and there are many things I need in my life right now more than a scoot I don't even have the time to ride hahaha.  ;D

MJR, I gathered a 2008 AN400 a few weeks ago, in sad condition.
Are you the resident I might ask questions about it ?
I also need tech information about CV carbs.

Tnx !

Never owned or worked on a B400 but I have a lot of experience with the B650's, some experience with the MyRoad 700i, and I'm just starting to learn about my Aprilia Atlantic 500. I guess it all depends on what. I haven't worked on a carburetor since high school shop back in the early 80's on a lawn mower but I think most scoots should be pretty basic.

Tnx mjr,

Will need Much advice on the AN400 I have gathered...

We have tampered with a vacuum metering diaphragm that controls the slide on the People 250...  probably best if I seek advice on that, also !
