Layered up and enjoyed a scooter ride after 2 days of cold rain.

After hard rain and tornadoes in Texas I've been out riding too. We're much warmer but real windy, like 15-25 gusting to 35. The SW is super in high winds because of it's weight but the jury was out on the BW. I'm here to tell you that it did really well, even with large semi's passing going the other way. That little Kymco is something else as I get more impressed with it the more I ride it. I think I have a great duo with the SW and BW. BTW, great pics of a really fine scooter you have there sir but 42 is a bit chilly for me. I've done it plenty but I prefer 50+. Must be my old age.

Nice photos Stig. Everytime I see your mirrors, for some reason I think of Ray Walston.  ;)

Nice photos of a cute little scooter in some pretty places...  and no one else came out to join you ?
Almost like those china ghost cities...
Maybe tie a string of empty cans on the back and ride around for an hour or so ???

I gotta look up Ray.....I  think these mirrors are seriously goofy looking.
But, what I  really like is that I  am able to swing them around front....and SO close to my line of forward vision. I can peep into them and back to the road ahead very easily. Other mirrors on other rides require me to move my head and/or swing my vision well away from the road.
This was my first scooter.....and my aims were safety over style. Hence the goofy long-stemmed Italian mirrors, too-big but DRL'd top case, rear fog light, removed Kenda tires, upgraded head light, etc.
The cab yellow helmet, and hi viz jacket are additions to the safety stuff.
The giant goofy looking home-made seat is .....a wonderful "sit" !

Little kids in the back window of school buses think I'm neat.
Of course, I could be misunderstanding their smiles & pointing.....
