..as i've indexed the oil pump back to the center of the V, the "varnish" is gone away...see my "60 mile plug" post..
One down, and one to go.
Have you tried a larger Pilot jet? That may help with the heat too. (bog off idle)

...its been unseasonably cool here, of late...40 this morning, low to mid 30s tonite, with a 10-20mph wind...
