I hope you're all doing well
Listen, I still have my DT, but I've not ridden is for a couple of years or more. Mainly due to COVID but also a non biking related busted leg.
My thoughts are turning back to digging it out of the back of the shed again (I'll need to remove a ton of stuff that's accumulated on top of it first though :-).
....and it got me thinking about an electric conversion. Same sort of power (say 30 horsepower). I'm not bothered about range as long as I have 80 miles in the batteries. Theres quite lot of room on the DT for batteries if you're willing to give up the underseat storage (which I am). I think the existing CVT set up mated to an electric motor would work quite well.
Does anyone have any knowledge on electric conversions for scooters?
