Not noticeably but the Yager was few mph slower with the bigger windshield.
I managed to get it to 73mph with it though.
It brings so much comfort to the ride; it's so worth it.

Erjon, I sold the Yager so I can't take more pics.
Do you want me to repost my photos or you need new ones?

Speaking of windshield, do you carry one for the Yamaha Maxam/Morphous 250?
Thanks!

It's quite heavy so MPG suffers.
I got 59mpg last time I fill it up and that was with a lot of highway riding. I think it can do better.
I agree with you though; gas mileage with the Yager was nice!

@ MotoRandy123:
I haven't stop riding it since the day I bought it ;-)
I read the article you are referring to but they got it wrong. I think they were talking about KiloWatt not HP since they gave a similar value forr the Vespa GTS 250.
The Morphous is around 21HP according to the manual.
Here is a review with the correct data:
http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Yamaha/Morphous/Morphous.html

It will cruise easily at 65-70mph in total silence.
The 7Jurock bigger windshield that was added helps a lot for highway rides.
Top speed; I got it up to 82mph (GPS verified).

I noticed immediately how smooth the suspension and the engine are. Way smoother than the Majesty and TMax I had.
It's super stable also at higher speed.

The Morphous shares a lot of parts with the Yamaha Majesty so it's convenient.

I found a Yamaha OEM rack for it already . There is a trunk in the back but overall the trunk space is not so good.

Service is every 3K and valve adjustments @ 26k (that's pretty much never ;-) ).
It's different..... and I like that :-)

@Karl:
Thanks Karl! I really appreciated your help for the valves adjustments!
No worries.... I will stick around and keep trying to help others if I can.

I wanted to thank everyone for your help on the forum!!
I sold the Yager today  :-\ :)
It is a great scooter and will miss it.
Still got the Service Manual for anyone who wants it.

Not scooterless though.... I went back to "Maxiscooters" with an instant collectible that I have been trying to get for years now.
It's a 2008 Yamaha Morphous (good price and less than 2000 miles). Just few thousand were sold in the US between 2006-2008.
It's low and long.... and super smooth.  8)

That's a tough decision.
Maintenance will be my main concern.

Did you try both?
If you do services yourself, I would go with the one you like the most (seating comfort, price, etc....).
I sat on both and the BV feels more solid to me. Nice seat. Bigger trunk. Nice color schemes too (silver/red) and decent windshield.

Apparently, the maintenance intervals on the BV are every 6000 miles.... That's nice!

For parts, ask a Piaggion dealer if he has basic parts in stock and their prices, that should give you an idea of the availability.

Let us know what you decided ;-)

Finally ordered my Isotta today! $136 delivered! It's been pretty cold in the mornings around here lately
so this should help a lot!

Great! It should help tremendously for cold mornings. Enjoy!

Wow ;D- the company responded back to me within about 6 hours (a Saturday night at that!) saying their IT department had corrected a problem with payments via credit card.  They asked me to update my order (re-enter the credit card info since their site doesn't store it).  My order confirmation immediately came up and I was able to print my receipt.

Thanks to Euronetbike for their quick response.  I wish US companies would follow your customer service example.

Thanks to Ludo for finding out about the company and the windshields.

Glad you got that resolved :-)
Enjoy the windshield!

I had no problem ordering and receiving my windshield from Euronetbike.
Contact Erjon directly, he will help you.

We are neighbors almost ;-)
I am in San Jose!
Did you go the SF Big Wet One 12 ride last weekend?
I have never seen a Yager on the road around here!

That's so messed up.
Is it common where you live? Where is that btw?

Living in NYC for years, I was used to lock the scooter with a chain regularly but now I'm in Northern California, it's actually so surprising how people are respectful of others' property.

I hope you catch the guy who did it!!
No surveillance cameras around your work?

Happy New Year 2013 and I wish you all the best.

I am sorry to reply a bit late during last 2 weeks and I appreciate your work testing out the screen and writing these posts.
I happy that you received the screen and fits to your bike and your needs.
Yes 1 month delivery is too much but starting from January we started to use DHL Express.
This service delivers around the world from our company in Austria in 3 or 4 days max (if we have in stock).

If we do not have in stock then requires around 14 ~ 18 days.

I would like to hear also the opinion when it passes over 80 mph and riding more than 30 minutes. (Please be careful)
Feel free to share the ideas you have for this screen or can improve more.

One more last thing, can we mount your images under our product description ?

  Thank You
Erjon Galanxhi

Thanks for the wishes Erjon.
No worries for the answer.
I got the screen as described and I was expecting to wait a little bit. Glad you guys found a faster way to ship it though.

Above 80mph?? That's never going to happen with the Yager!!  :-)
Top speed is about 73mph on mine.
I did 100 miles of highway this weekend at top speed and the windscreen performed very well. No vibration nor flexing at top speed either. All good.
I get some slight buffeting on the very top of my helmet if I sit very straight. Not a real problem due to the windscreen though.
One thing that can be improved is the hands protection (just a little bit more width would fix it).
Oh... and some instructions in English would help ;-)

Sure... you can use my photos!

Yeah I did see your post about the shocks. I may try that in the future.
But I just got the Isotta windshield installed.... Read my review?
So no other mods for me right now.

Pressure is within specs.... and I check them regularly.
I think that the smaller wheel size, "not so" stellar seat and the short wheelbase contribute to that uncomfortable ride.

Thanks for the tip though :-)
