Why fake?
Buy one that loops, when you really need it a fake won't give it to you. I have wanted to do this in my cars but not spent the time searching for one. I looked up the one advertised on TV late nights but it is riddled with reliability issues.

Both have big wheels and the HD200 is the fastest of the 200 and unders.
Is the P250 NOS? That's a bullit proof proven motor as is the SYM 200.

I concur with what he says above and the Like is not a 200 cc motor, I think it is a 160 cc.

These are carburated.
Wonder if what you hear could be a backfire due to lean conditions or something in the rear end going like a bearing or such. From what you describe, sounds more like a fuel issue and a backfire.
