Have had sticky front brake and worn front tyre. Changed tyre myself saving £30 and taken brake caliper apart and cleaned pistons with 2000 grade sandpaper, replaced brake pads and put some red brake grease on seals. Was quoted £50 for the job. Also replaced steering bearings and runners that I bought on ebay for £16 but grease was everywhere so didn’t manage to take any pictures.

Is there any website to order parts directly from Taiwan? I found big scooter shop byt they don't do panels and kymco parts online but there is an issue with online safety certificate.

Downtown 300 / Downtown 300 insurance write off

Just got delivered Downtown 300i I bought on ebay auction. Was sold as non runner with unchecked mileage as keys are missing it's 2012 non abs. It took me half an hour to get front headlight off to get access to the ignition and it started first touch. Mileage is 20000 miles as I found out. Did anyone had replacement  keys ordered from the dealer here in the UK?

Hi. Just bought insurance write off DT. There are no keys and some minor panel damage. I guess I will have to replace ignition barrel and fuel cap.

Hi I have bought Kymco Downtown 300 insurance write off and need new ignition barrel and few bits to get it back on the road. I have found ignition on ebay but it seems that keys that come with it are without that bit that unlocks the lock cover plate. Is there any place in the UK to get kymco parts from?
