I have a 2012 super 8 150.. i put new batt plug carb and tire on it got it inspected and on my maiden voyage with it made it a half mile down road and bogged down and quit.. started right back up and would run but once I gave it enough throttle to move it bogged down and when I let go would stay running but if I didn't would quit.. any help or suggestions are appreciated

Are you saying you replaced the battery, spark plug and carburetor? If so, why did you replace the carb?

did you just hit it with the sledge hammer from the all sides or did you hit it right on the front surface?
