Scangauge on Yager?
« on: October 16, 2012, 05:38:16 PM »
From the service manual the ECU in the Yager uses ISO 9141 for diags.

It might be possible to connect a scangauge and reset codes and such.

Has anybody out there tried this or something similar?

Looks like it may be possible, Randy. The Yger connector has three wires: Ground, ECU power and data. Several OBD II connectors do not use two data wires, just one. The trick is to get  connectors to make an adapter.

PS: I talk like I know all about this. I don't since I just looked up OBD II pin-out and found that most of the scanners use four wires: Power, Gnd, 2@ data.
