Leo Vince Handmade ZX I'm assuming with that setup you should definitely work on upjetting big time and or getting a bigger carb also have to play with roller weights to stay in the right RPM range

lighter rollers should give you better acceleration but not as high RPMS which means not as high tops speed of course but also stock exhaust is tuned for a 50cc engine and 14.5mm carb you need an expansion chamber exhaust that is tuned for 50-70cc or just 70cc to get real power as the exhaust on a 2T is like the cam on the 4T.

also when you said just installed kit do you mean just installed kit or just installed and have broken it in properly with 5 or so heat cycles and a couple hundred miles of proper break in throttle position?

get the Malossi Multivar it should come with 9gr rollers I believe and maybe a slightly stiffer spring

I wouldn't drill out jet as you might go to far and then not have a replacement just buy an assortment of jets they're only a couple bucks each

yeah I would definitely figure out why you're not running right first then do BBK aka Big Bore Kit also as a beginner DO NOT DO ALUMINUM KIT get a cast iron kit as they are more forgiving and last longer then single ring aluminums are more for racing applications and people who don't mind tearing into it to replace rings and or piston more often.

I've never noticed less acceleration that stock with heavier weights the like had 8.5g stock when I wrnt to the Malossi Multivar they came with 9G rollers and I definitely noticed a differance witht hem in top speed then went to 6gr and back to 8gr Dr Pulley sliders once had BBK and upgear kit on to keep it around 9600 rpm tops which on my LIke 50 was 65mph

shouldn't lighter weights allow variator to pop out sooner but not as far so faster to a certain rpm range but lower rpms in general heavier weights slower on get go but further travel and higher top speed hence higher rpms?
