WD-40 is not a protection against rust or a lubricant, it's a freeing agent, the WD actually stands for "water disperser" and the 40 is it was their 40th recipe before they perfected the solution.
WD-40 also breaks down grease and oil, so when ever you use it you must re-grease or oil the component.

Yes, Leo vince zx, exactly!
I put rollers in that came with the exhaust.
As supplier didn't have jets, to get me outa trouble I drilled out main jet to 1mm, allowing for wobble I'd say it's 1.1m min. The idle jet is still standard.
I did order jets from uk but never arrived!
Will reorder again and keep fingers crossed.
Sorry pace, I didn't write full info last night, had a call out on a fault I had to attend.
But I see your on the 49cc forum and the Kymco too and see your replies on both.
In the 49cc I'm sure you saw my previous posts when it started to soft seize and I rebuilt engine before, well there is all the back story.

Rev range, since I changed rollers it improved dramatically, until the recent event lol.

I plan to get new piston etc thurs/Friday.
And rebuild it Friday evening.
Have to sit with current drilled out main jet and standard idle till the new jets arrive from the uk.

What carb would you recommend, or what jet sizes?

Thanks for your help

Wanted to confirm it's working and not at fault as I'm checking the whole ignition system as I can't adjust the timing.

I think my idle jet is still low, is there a formula or anyone have a 70cc malossi on a 14mm carb as reference for jet sizes
